abstrat:

student evaluatin is the key t the suess f the learning and ertifiatin press. eb based instrutin des nt have the flexibility f the lassr based instrutin in regard t the evaluatin press and presents ertain diffiulties. student evaluatin is a ulti-step press, ith eah stage having its n bjetives and strategies. ne f the ajr liitatins f the n-line testing is that it restrits the evaluatin t bjetive questins due its nveniene, in spite f its liitatins. the paper suggests the pssible apprahes t evaluatin at different stages and fr different purpses, in the ntext f eb based eduatin.

the paper nsiders student evaluatin fr learning, fr self-testing, fr the purpses f frative evaluatin, fr ntinuus evaluatin and fr the purpse f final suative evaluatin needed fr ertifiatin. the paper suggests an evaluatin del fr eb based eduatin and als suggests se alternative ethds f inrprating the prble slving and shrt r lng anser prbles in the eb based evaluatin.

intrdutin

every eduatin syste assures the users f the prduts f its syste, i.e. the eplyers, abut the prfiieny r apabilities aquired by its students as a result f ging thrugh its eduatinal prgraes. fr this it uses se fr f testing and evaluatin leading t ertifiatin. ften, the ertifiatin aarded by the eduatinal institutins in the fr f degrees, diplas and ertifiates is aepted by the siety fr varius purpses and is taken as quality ertifiatin. the nventinal university syste assures the quality f its prdut by ntrlling the inputs, resures, press f instrutin and the student evaluatin. fr this, it uses the teahers as a key resure f the syste. the teahers ake use f the knledge f the dain, and that f the students, t guide the students thrugh plex instrutinal presses and then evaluate the. three iprtant presses lsely linked t eah ther have influened the quality f eduatin.

a) integratin f instrutinal bjetives [1]and instrutinal strategies[2] t ensure ngruene beteen these eleents t ensure the develpent f desired petenies t the desired degree f prfiieny;

b) spreading ut the press f evaluatin [3] thrugh varius ativities ver the hle perid f learning t iprve the reliability f the evaluatin;

) fusing n the evaluatin f learning press rather than siple petenies.

t iprve the reliability f the assessent f the students, teahers nstantly evaluate the students thrugh lse bservatin in the lassr, analysis f the questins and respnses fr the students, and ndut f a variety f fral evaluatinr test predures like ritten, ral and pratial exainatins. eduatin systes have als designed a variety f test ites suh as different types f bjetive ites, shrt anser questins, desriptive questins, nuerial prbles, skill denstratin et. eah f the evaluatin predures and eah type f the test ites are designed t perfr a speifi funtin.

st eduatinal systes nsider that the bjetives, ntent, instrutinal strategies, instrutinal interatins and student testing ust fr an integral unit in any instrutinal press, thugh in pratie the aunt f integratin varies nsiderably fr institutin t institutin and teaher t teaher. this is refleted in the fat that alst all the instrutinal design dels [3,5] suggest that, the student evaluatin plan and test ites be best develped based n the bjetives and the ntent. fr this reasn, the test ites are ritten iediately after defining the bjetives and riting the ntent ut lines. s als the ntent, instrutinal strategies, and the instrutinal interatins are designed, based n the bjetives and eeting the evaluatin requireents. thus the eduatinal syste ensured ngruene beteen the bjetives, ntent, instrutinal strategies, instrutinal interatins and testing. the integratin f instrutin and evaluatin is a result f the influene f the behavirist philsphy and the peteny based instrutin n the instrutinal syste.
